Round-up

Hello peoples, it has been wonderful this week to receive two parcels from Holland - thank you very much for these!! The photo of Gawain drinking his before bed bottle he is wearing the pajama's from Arie and Janny - they are very good since they are a thin cotten.

It is amazing to think our little man is now three weeks old. He is growing very fast - he was 9lb (4kg) on Wednesday, the midwife was very impressed with him. He's still quite spilly - but is getting himself into a reasonable routine. He's usually up 2-3 times a night, I'm hoping the 5.30 wake up will stretch out till 6am soonish, but other than that it is usally around midnight and 3am, and he goes down for the night around 8.30. Last night, it was 2 and 5.30 and then 6.30 again, but he woke himself for a feed at 10 - so he's getting the hang of it. He likes to be around noise during the day, so he mostly sleeps in his portacot (mountain buggy bassinette) in the afternoon/early evening.

Gawain is getting more into seeing (and touching) him. I have to remember to close the door to Bryn's room now, otherwise Gawain goes to the bassinette and just hangs over the edge, which is good, he can't touch, but before long he'll be strong enough to pull it over, and we don't want that!! Gawain is also into the shower now - climbing in a few times with week with his clothes. I really have to work on closing doors quickly.

Gawain is still loving going with W on the bike and constantly pointing to us the 'sheshe' (sheep) when we go for a walk or he's with Wouter. Wouter took him out yesterday morning, which was a nice break for me, meant I had a nice shower without having to worry about him yangling in the play pen.

Other than that, we have Byrn's baptism (christening) coming up on the 7th of December, so that will be nice and this week is town week, so will be a bit busier for me. Wouter I think will be starting the weaning of the lambs this week also.
