Pictures of our wee man

It's Labor Day here, which means a) it will rain all weekend because it's a public holiday and b)nothing exciting will be happening. It has rained all weekend, and I think the most exciting thing that has happened has been Gawain having a relatively good night last night. He varies from waking up three times to I think the record was six times between 11pm and 6am.

He's quite a serious little fellow ...

Yesterday we put on the outfit that we originally planned for him to wear home from the hospital. He is starting to fit newborn rather than premmie sizes of a few brands. Not the greatest photo to see the outfit, but he was happy in Papa's arms!!

Finally some snuggle time with Mama - and Papa taking the photos for a change ...

Modelling the hat and cardy that Grandma Kleinjan knitted, it fits perfectly, so he may outgrown it fast ...

Rugged up in the carseat ready to go out, he's wearing a Pumpkin Patch outfit that I got off Trademe ...

Last but not least ... tummy time in the sun for five minutes to try and get rid of the awful nappy rash ... it's gone down thankfully, so we'll keep a close eye on it.

It has been great receiving all the cards from Holland! They are going to fill up his scrapbook fast.

The week ahead is looking relatively quiet, we have an antenatal class catch up on Wednesday, so it'll be nice to catch up with a few of the other Mum's and bubs who were in hospital with us. Other than that the plan is to sleep when he's sleeping in the afternoon's and sometimes the morning and keep my house nice and tidy. Oh - might have to try and squeeze some scrapbooking in there as well.
