Holiday shots

We have just gotten back from a nice break at Waihi Beach. Of course, going on holiday means that Wouter comes down with a major head cold, so he wasn't feeling the greatest for the first few days ... after that, our wee boy managed to get a double ear infection and a vomit bug ... holidays eh?? Never mind, Wouter still managed to catch a couple of fish and we found a very cool fishing spot down by Bowen-town with a quite sheltered beach. Gawain wasn't too impressed with my efforts to get him to stay on the mat, and since he has mastered commando crawling, was off accross the sand in a shot. He has now figured out how to get from his tummy/back to sitting. The first time he looked around in a very surprised manner. He is also now saying Mama and Papa although not always directed at us.

On Sunday we went to visit Nana, and Gawain got an early first birthday present. Unfortunately he didn't keep down his lunch so chucked all over the carpet ... guess that's just what babies do :-)
