Well, we have a new addition in our family, a pup called Butch. He's a pure-breed huntaway. Thanks to Mum and Dad for bringing him home to us. The boys love him to bits already. He's quite timid, but that'll go as he fins his feet in the pack.
Today we were lucky to go to the yards and 'help' or 'watch' Wouter as he drenched the steers. It is blowing a gale, so we rugged up warm. Melinda fell asleep in the backpack for her morning nap. I kept Bryn in the buggy since there is a dam next to that set of yards. Gawain once sitting on the bike is happy to stay put for as long as you need him too.
The weather has been somewhat temperamental. Sometimes it is easier to put the boys in shorts and make sure the rest of htem is warm and just clean mud off legs later. They do have alot of fun in the mud that used to be our back lawn. Never mind, before we know it spring will arrive and things will start to dry out.
My latest knitting project is complete, a Rainbow Dress for Melinda. It still needs blocking but it was fun making it. Now I'm working on a NB thing for my new niece or nephew. Hoping to get a parcel sent off to Holland by the end of the month!! Hopefully it will get there in time for birthdays!
